December 3, 2008 When Suzanne White first travelled to impoverished, flood-ravaged Haiti as a missionary last year it was supposed to be a one-time thing, but it has turned out to be much more than that. The 31-year-old Orangeville lawyer is now gearing up for her fourth trip to the small Caribbean island in December. She visited our club looking for some help. Suzanne spoke passionately about the plight of Haitians, especially the youth, who have had to endure not only poverty and political instability but severe damaging huricanes that have ravaged their homes. |
